The tour will take you through the History of the Second city of the Empire. Learn about our Social activism and stand against apartheid, the Glasgow Pals Battalions of WW1, The citys links with Slavery. The oldest Cathedral in the UK, Our “City of the Dead”, The worlds Oldest Variety Theatre where Stan Laurel made his debut and some kick ass Glaswegian Woman, one who literally, got away with Murder (allegedly).

The Tour Route

The tour starts at Starbucks Nelson Mandela Place, then George Square, The Merchant City, Glasgow Cathedral, The site of the Original Glasgow University, Trongate and finishes at the GOMA by the infamous Glasgow Hat.
